# C-Stack

> C-Stack, short for Contractor Stack, is job management software for electrical, plumbing and HVAC contractors. Takeoffs, estimates, work orders, invoices and crew time live in one place. Built by electrician Ryan Schwartz.

## What it does
- Takeoffs: count devices and measure on uploaded plans or field photos, then send the counts to an estimate.
- Estimates: branded estimates with your prices; customers approve online from a link, no login.
- Jobs and schedule: an approved estimate creates the job; schedule visits and assign crew on a calendar.
- Work orders and crew time: techs see their own work, clock in and out from the field, log PTO, and add photos.
- Invoices: turn an approved estimate into an invoice; customers can pay online by card; automatic payment reminders.
- Data export: one-click CSV export of customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, work orders and time entries. No direct QuickBooks sync yet; invoice CSVs can be imported by a bookkeeper.

- Side Hustle: free, 1–2 users. Estimates, invoices, customers, online payments, schedule. No card required.
- Pro: $25/month or $250/year, up to 15 users. Adds jobs, takeoffs, work orders, time tracking and payroll. First 30 days free, no card required.
- Business: $50/month or $500/year, up to 30 users. Adds Trade Tools (load calcs, backflow test reports, refrigerant log) and custom fields.
- Enterprise: $150/month or $1,500/year, unlimited users.
